Modeling Complex Flood Control Projects: A Hungarian Experience
Following the April 2000 flood on the Tisza River, the Ministry of Water Resources of Hungary authorized the Middle Tisza-Valley District Water Authority to investigate available computer models and make recommendations regarding model selection. The goal of this paper is to summarize the ongoing hydrologic modeling activities during the past few years.
