Extreme situations in the city can damage the city's population. The city government must make sure that the city residents warned and protected in case of a danger. Kėdainiai District Municipality has prepared an Emergency Management Plan. This plan helps alert and evacuate the population according to the right rules. To alert city resident’s government can use warning sirens, which are more than 30 and with telephone program. In case of accident when people cannot live in their house the government can help and for this people at first they are evacuated in the save place and after that they can live some days in the collective security buildings. This building created that people in case of accident can live safety until their house are damaged or unsafe. There are two dangerous companies in Kėdainiai city that cause chemical and gashazard to the population: “Lifosa” and “Okseta”. In case of accident in this companies can be damaged a big part of city population.
