Basic study for pore water pressure on pile driven in clay
Method to estimate initial pore water pressure around pile driven in clay from mechanical properties of clay; theoretical calculation indicates that initial pore water pressure will be 2.5 to 5.2 times undrained cohesion of clay, and that bearing capacity will be increased 2.3 to 4.6 times its initial value after long period of time.
