Hydrological aspects of radioactive waste disposal
Groundwater hydrology investigations to predict behavior of low level radioactive waste discharged to ground in Hanford, Wash, nuclear reactor area; observed were: changing groundwater contours, fluctuation of water table and movements of groundwater, effects of porosity of ground, and characteristics of sediments; underground movement of radioactive wastes did not result in detectable amounts reaching point of public access.
