Predicting structural behavior analytically
Analytical model of structural system consisting of column and its adjoining members is established; numerical procedure is presented for computing moments and deflections as function of load; analytical model was chosen so as to approximate closely physical system that might be tested in laboratory; an example of application of analytical procedures that are presented, behavior of system consisting of reinforced concrete column and its adjoining members is studied.
