Test on prestressed concrete hollow-box bridge deck
Hollow box pretensioned beams laid side by side and held together transversely by prestress or other means are advocated for bridge decks of spans from 30 up to about 90 ft; tests on one-third scale model of 30 ft span; comparisons made with type of deck comprising inverted T beams transversely reinforced and topped with insitu concrete.
