Construction of Regional Laboratory of Dept of Civil Engineering in Autun
Modular system of construction based on multiples of 1.20 m was used; building covers area of 980 sq m, with total volume of 3369 cu m; construction attempts to intergrate all that is known regarding quality and endurance of materials, ease of assembly, transformations and disassembly, comfort, and good design; building was ready for occupancy in 6 mo, including digging 40 sq m basement, brickwork, and all installations; construction of prefabricated modular wall and ceiling panels as well as assembly methods are described.
