In erecting new 5,000,000-gal water tank at Buchanan Park, Lancaster, Pa, steel erector eliminated need for roof falsework by erecting dome roof at bottom of tank on wood pontoons equally spaced around circumference and then floating roof to top positions; tank is 100 ft in diam, 91 ft high.
