Purpose of tests, method of conducting, and results; following conclusions are reached: satisfactory concrete and reinforced concrete can be made from both light and heavy slag sand; concrete from slag sand used in reinforced-concrete structures should be prepared only in thick mixture (such as 1:2:3) which ensures rust-proof covering of the iron. Report on investigation of use of blast-furnace slag for concrete.
