Feasibility study into application of French Safege monorail system to 16-mi route through city; suspended overhead railroad cars hang from rubber-tired trucks which run on wooden track within concrete beam; 17 min are envisaged for 9 1/2 mi from Ringway Airport to City Center -- 20 min for 16-mi terminal to terminal; at present 150-passenger coaches, including seating accommodation for 48, are under consideration.
