Lightweight concrete made with expanded blast furnace slag
Data on strength, durability, unit weight, thermal conductivity, and other characteristics of concrete made with typical expanded slag over wide range of cement contents (4 to 8 1/2 sacks per cu yd to include both insulating and structural concretes); based on tests conducted, structural lightweight concretes having 28-day compressive strengths in range of 2000 to 4000 psi can be readily obtained.
