New physics laboratories recently opened at Garston, Watford, Herts; additional facilities apart from main block include rotatable wall laboratory and pilot-scale laboratory for investigation of heat transfer from heated floors and other problems; review of researches conducted in laboratory on thermal response of buildings, thermal properties of walls, domestic boiler flues, effects of solar radiation, noise prevention, and effect of windows.
