Proposed methodology for computing depth of water on flexible draining roof at any time after beginning of rainstorm is presented; results have application in studies of roof failures due to ponding and for design of roof members and roof drains where ponding problems are expected; curves are given for simple horizontal and simple sloped roofs; case study of actual roof system that failed is given to illustrate application of general methodology to more complex situations.
