Behaviour of continuously reinforced concrete road at Dundee
Results of crack surveys on concrete base and asphalt surfacing; distribution of cracks along fast and slow lanes; effect of subgrade friction on behavior of long reinforced concrete slab; 4 yr surveys showed that intensity of traffic had little influence on occurrence of cracks; surveyed 8 in. base was 3896 ft long, with no expansion or contraction joints.
