Preliminary survey, Dallas North Tollway
Preliminary control survey for Dallas North Tollway was expanded to include requirements of final design and construction; to meet these demands, accuracies and field procedures were modified to second order requirements; during survey unusual problems were encountered due to loss of second order control within area; using geodimeter and theodolite, and looking to "Dallas Skyline" for solution, "command position" was established on Southland Life Building for successful completion of survey.
