A tensioning bracket 10 for attachment to a structural bracing strap 30, the tensioning bracket comprising a curved and substantially rigid plate 14 presenting a concave recess 5 to the strap; an aperture for receipt of a tensioning bolt 12, the aperture comprising a threaded bore adapted to threadably cooperate with the tensioning bolt; wherein: the plate comprises at least two lateral detents 26 adapted to depend below a profile of an upper surface 35 of the strap on which the plate is adapted to rest to bear against a side 34 of said strap and resist rotation of said bracket.
