The invention discloses a fabric tensioner which comprises a base and a traction stretching strap disc. The middle part of the base is provided with a pulley lower-end bracket. The pulley lower-end bracket is provided with a stretching strap lower-end pulley. A traction pulley and a bridge pulley are arranged below the base. Furthermore the traction pulley, the bridge pulley and the stretching strap lower-end pulley are successively arranged below the base. A pulley upper-end bracket is arranged above the base. The pulley upper-end bracket is fixedly connected with a stretching strap upper-end pulley. The stretching strap upper-end pulley is arranged below the stretching strap disc. Through the stretching strap upper-end pulley, the stretching strap lower-end pulley, the traction pulley and the bridge pulley, a counterforce to a fabric lower beam is generated on a fabric reel, thereby making the fabric in a tensed state in elevating movement in a side rail, keeping high smoothness of roller shutter fabric in elevating movement, and realizing no wrinkle and no offset or disengagement from the side rail.
