SEALING DEVICE
Sealing device for use providing a seal between the ends of overlapping profiled sheets, such as roofing sheets, has an elongate body which, relative to 5 one in-use orientation, has upper and lower longitudinal surfaces and laterally outwardly facing longitudinal side surfaces. In side elevation relative to that orientation the sealing device defines at one or more locations along its length an engagement portion at which the upper surface is raised, and at which the lower surface is raised and preferably is recessed. Each of the lower and the 10 upper surfaces of the engagement portion has a respective form which at least in part corresponds respectively to the form in cross-section of the outer, upper surface and of the inner, lower surface of profiled ribs of longitudinally overlapping profiled sheets with which the sealing device is to be used.
