A ladder safety through rail comprising retrofitting a ladder egress rail/stile that is designed to fit to the upper section of most branded portable single stage and extension ladders. The components allow for a through egress from a portable ladder removing the danger of side egressing from a portable ladder which poses dangers to safety from side shifting a ladder when getting on and off and exposing the user to a fall to the ground due to the nature of having to step over a fall exposure in order to get on and off a ladder.
