Abstract The present invention relates broadly to a sewer maintenance shaft 8 including a base moulding 10 comprising a perimeter wall 12 connected to a floor 14 and part of a fluid outlet coupling 16. The base moulding 10 includes an inlet aperture 18 designed to accommodate an inlet spigot (not shown) of a predetermined size.
