(Figure 1) The present invention relates to a traffic sign device of the type suitable for marking and identifying roadside hazards or the edges of roads and parts. In particular, the present invention concerns a traffic sign device for use in marking, dividing or defining a vehicular laneway, hazards or parking space, said device being of a temporary nature. The traffic sign device includes: a base for supporting the device on a support surface; and a body configured to extend upwardly from the base, said body having a lower end, an opposed upper end and at least one sign bearing sidewall extending longitudinally therebetween. The body tapers from the lower end to the upper end and the at least one sign bearing sidewall has an outer surface configured to receive at least one traffic sign thereon. Figure 1
