Abstract Disclosed is a collapsible mast. The mast has a plurality of interconnected mast components. Adjacent mast components are pivotably connected to one another. The mast also has a linear actuator configured to move the mast components from a collapsed 5 position to an erect position. The mast components include at least two vertical components. The vertical components remain in a vertical orientation when the mast is moved from the collapsed position to the erect position. Figure 2
