Developments Relating to Temporary Stairways
Abstract A temporary stairway for access between two levels of a building under construction at a location where the upper floor has a void formed therein. The stairway comprises 5 a stair frame including: - a pair of straight stringers, and - a plurality of stair treads, between said stringers, and a top landing comprising: - a top landing frame formed of side rails, and 10 - a top panel supported upon said top landing frame. The top landing is fastened at one side to the top ends of said stringers, and at its other side, to the side of the void. Brackets extend downwards to suspend the top landing such that it is below the upper floor level.
