Electronic lockset system having communication capabilities
This invention relates to an electronic lockset (1 ) including an outer body (3) and an inner body (4) for mounting to a door. Each of the outer body (3) and inner body (4) including a hand operable member (8, 7) that when operable are each capable of moving a latch bolt (5). The lockset (1 ) is operable in a number of modes including a safety mode and a passage mode. The lockset (1 ) also including one or more wireless communication modules for communicating a selected operating mode to a second electronic lockset.
