The sanitizer device includes a main member and a sanitizing lamp. The main member includes a first piece and a second piece perpendicularly joined into a L shape. The sanitizing lamp, configured on an inner surface of the first 5 piece, includes a lighting element, a sensor element, a control element, and a power element. To apply the sanitizer device to a door handle, the second piece is attached to a door panel behind the door handle and the first piece faces the door handle. The sanitizing lamp emits disinfecting light on door handle to sanitize the door handle. When the sensor element detects an object 10 in the proximity, the sensor element notifies the control element to turn off the sanitizing lamp. The sanitizer device is structurally simple and enjoys lower material and production cost. It is smaller in dimension, takes up little space, and convenient to carry and install.
