-16 A door handle mounting assembly includes a housing that rotatably supports a door handle, and first and second fastening features disposed toward opposite ends of the housing. The first fastening feature has a first base component that is mounted, in use, on 5 a face of the door, and a pivot component attached to the housing. The second fastening feature has a second base component that is also mounted on the face of the door, in use, the second base component being received in the housing when the base and pivot components of the first fastening feature are engaged with one another.
