BONDING DISSIMILAR CERAMIC COMPONENTS
Adhesive compositions and methods for bonding materials with different thermal expansion coefficients is provided. The adhesive is formulated using a flux material, a low flux material, and a filler material, where the filler material comprises particulate from at least one of the two components being bonded together. A thickening agent can also be used as part of the adhesive composition to aid in applying the adhesive and establishing a desired bond thickness. The method of forming a high strength bond using the disclosed adhesive does not require the use of intermediary layer or the use of high cure temperatures that could damage one or both of the components being bonded together.
Des compositions adhésives et des méthodes de liaison de matériaux ayant des coefficients de dilatation différents sont présentées. Ladhésif est formulé à laide dun matériau fondant, un matériau fondant faible et un matériau de remplissage, où le matériau de remplissage comprend des particules dau moins une des deux composantes à lier ensemble. Un agent épaississant peut aussi être utilisé comme partie de la composition adhésive pour aider à lapplication de ladhésif et à létablissement de lépaisseur de liaison désirée. La méthode de formation dune liaison très solide au moyen de ladhésif divulgué ne nécessite pas lutilisation dune couche intermédiaire ou lutilisation de température de durcissement élevée qui pourrait endommager une des composantes, ou les deux, qui seront liées.
