The invention relates to a fire protection strip (24) intended to be inserted in through-holes (12) in walls or ceilings (10) of buildings, comprising at least two main layers (26a, 26b) made of intumescent material and at least one intermediate layer (30a), which is arranged between adjacent main layers (26a, 26b) and which is made of a second intumescent material, wherein the second intumescent material has a lower intumescence temperature than the material of the main layers (26a, 26b) and wherein the main layers (26a, 26b) each have a first longitudinal edge (32a, 32b) on one outer face and each have a second longitudinal edge (34a, 34b) on the opposite outer face.
L'invention concerne une bande de protection contre l'incendie (24) destinée à être insérée dans des traversées (12) dans des parois ou des plafonds (10) de bâtiments, possédant au moins deux couches principales (26a, 26b) constituées d'un matériau intumescent et au moins une couche intermédiaire (30a) en un deuxième matériau intumescent disposée entre les couches principales (26a, 26b) adjacentes. Le deuxième matériau intumescent présente une température d'intumescence inférieure à celle du matériau des couches principales (26a, 26b) et les couches principales (26a, 26b) possèdent respectivement un premier bord longitudinal (32a, 32b) sur un côté extérieur et respectivement un deuxième bord longitudinal (34a, 34b) sur le côté extérieur opposé.
