The invention provides colored concrete and a preparation method thereof. One cubic meter of the colored concrete comprises the following raw materials: 200-500kg of cement, 100-300kg of water, 600-800kg of fine aggregate, 1000-1200kg of coarse aggregate, 60-90kg of slag, 60-90kg of carbide slag, 30-60kg of fly ash, 4-8kg of a water reducing agent, 10-25kg of a pigment, epoxy resin accounting for 0.5-2% of the weight of the cement, and a coupling agent accounting for 0.05-0.1% of the weight of the cement. After the fly ash is added, the effect in the process of hydration of cement is significant because the fly ash has very high activity; and the fly ash is good in workability, relatively high in specific area and flaky characteristic and good in hydrophilic property, and can greatly improve the workability and cohesiveness of a concrete mixture after being added into the concrete.
