The invention belongs to the technical field of earthen relic protection materials and relates to an organic and inorganic composite material containing nanometer calcium hydroxide for earthen relic protection and a preparation method of the composite material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: adding triton X-100 into a CaCl2 solution, slowly adding an aqueous solution of metal hydroxide for reacting at the temperature from 85 DEG C to 95 DEG C in the stirring process, filtering after the reaction is finished, thereby obtaining the precipitate; drying the precipitate, thereby obtaining nanometer calcium hydroxide; adding the nanometer calcium hydroxide, carboxyl substituted polysiloxane and a cross-linking agent XR-100 into the reactor, stirring, reacting, thereby obtaining the organic and inorganic composite material. The strength of earthen relics can be greatly improved, and the composite material has the advantages of easy penetration, water resistance and high durability.
