The invention discloses a carbon fiber composite concrete-filled steel tube column and a construction method thereof. The carbon fiber composite concrete-filled steel tube column comprises a concrete column body, wherein the node area and end part of the concrete column body are coated with steel tubes to form steel tube constraint areas, the inflection point area of the concrete column body is coated with a carbon fiber cloth to form a carbon fiber cloth constraint area, and the steel tube constraint areas and the carbon fiber cloth constraint area are adjacent; concrete is constrained on a beam, the node area of the concrete column body and the end part of the concrete column body by utilizing the steel tubes, and the concrete is constrained on the inflection point area of the concrete column body by utilizing the carbon fiber cloth. According to the carbon fiber composite concrete-filled steel tube column, the node area of the integral structure of the carbon fiber composite concrete-filled steel tube column body is not weakened, so that the requirement for strong node can be effectively ensured; in addition, the concrete column body part and the steel tube constraint areas can be completed during pouring and the carbon fiber cloth constraint area is formed by adhering the carbon fiber cloth so as to be adapted to different shapes and the defects of complexity, difficulty in construction and the like of the node structure of a concrete-filled steel tube column.
