A central control combination lock for bags and suitcases comprises a lock body, two side locks and a password wheel lock cylinder; the password wheel lock cylinder comprises many groups of password wheel sets and a lock rod; the password wheel sets comprise cams with character wheels; the cams are driven to rotate by the character wheels; limiting lug bosses are arranged at the internal rings of the cams; cam mounting slots are arranged on the limiting lug bosses; inclined planes and a C-shaped locking plane are arranged on each limiting lug bosses; the inclined planes are arranged at two sides of the cam mounting slots and connected with the side walls of the cam mounting slots and the C-shaped locking planes; the C-shaped locking planes are located at the places except for the inclined planes and the cam mounting slots; each lug matches with the inclined planes or the C-shaped locking plane of the corresponding cam; connecting bars and springs are arranged among the password wheel lock and two side locks; one end of each connecting bar is propped against the lock rod of the password wheel lock cylinder and the other end matches with a side lock switch; and the springs provide elastic restoring force for the connecting bars to return to the locking status.
