To reduce the number of parts that make up a locking member and concurrently provide a proper engagement-disengagement relationship between a lock body and a plug-in member in bags and cases with a simple construction and rational means.SOLUTION: In a lock 1 for bags and cases which includes a lock body 10 attached to a housing B and a plug-in member 50 attached to a lid A so as to correspond to the position of the lock body and having an engagement piece 53 detachably engaging with the lock body, the lock body 10 is provided with a recessed storage portion 12, a lock cam 21 that rotates in engagement and non-engagement directions about a lock cam shaft 22 and biasing means 23 for causing a spring end 23a to press against the locking cam so as to bias the locking cam at least in the locking direction are assembled in the recessed storage portion, when an engagement piece 53 further enters the lock body after an engagement of the engagement piece 53 with a first engaging portion 21b formed in the lock cam 21, the biasing force of the biasing means 23 causes the lock cam 21 to rotate automatically for pulling the engagement piece 53 to a lock position, with the result of establishing a locked condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】施錠部材を構成する部品の数を少なくすると共に、簡単な機構と合理的な手段によって、かばん・ケース類の錠前本体と差込部材と係合、離脱関係を適確になさんとすることである。【解決手段】筐体Bに取り付けられる錠前本体10と、この錠前本体の位置に対応するように蓋体Aに取り付けられ、係合片53が錠前本体に着脱自在に係合する差込部材50とから成るかばん・ケース類の錠前1に於いて、錠前本体10に凹所状収納部12を設け、この凹所状収納部に、施錠カム用軸22を中心として係合・非係合方向に回動する施錠カム21と、この施錠カムを少なくとも施錠方向に付勢するようバネ端部23aが該施錠カムに圧接する付勢手段23を組み込み、係合片53が施錠カム21に形成された第1係合部21bに係合した後、該係合片53が前記錠前本体内に更に進入すると、付勢手段23の付勢力により、施錠カム21は係合片53を施錠位置へと引き寄せるように自動的に回動して施錠状態となること。【選択図】図3
