A C / C-TaC-ZrB2 ceramic matrix composite comprises C fiber, a C matrix, a TaC matrix and a ZrB2 matrix. The TaC matrix is between the C / C matrix and ZrB2 matrix, the volume fraction of C fiber is 32-61%, the volume fraction of C matrix is 12-22%, the volume fraction of TaC matrix is 5-12%, and the volume fraction of ZrB2 matrix is 10-34%. The surface of the modified C / C composite is covered by TaC and ZrB2; the TaC matrix provides protection for the C fiber to prevent damage of Zr metal matrix to the matrix in the subsequent reaction; and at high temperature, B2O3 generated by oxidation of ZrB2 can effectively heal defects on the matrix, so as to further effectively prevent C / C matrix from oxidation.
