Silica sand tailings and coal gangue-based foamed ceramic and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses silica sand tailings and coal gangue-based foamed ceramic and a preparation method thereof. The foamed ceramic is prepared from quartz sand ore tailings and/or silica sand tailings, coal gangue and a sintering additive in blank forming and sintering manners. The preparation method is simple in preparation process, mild in reaction condition, and low in raw material cost; the prepared foamed ceramic has the characteristics of high strength, high porosity, low cost, no secondary pollution and the like; and the specific characteristics are as follows: the utilization rate of solid waste materials can be up to 85%; the volume density of the foamed ceramic is 0.37-0.74g/cm<3>; the porosity is 61.6%-87.5%; the bending strength is 2.1-6.2MPa; the compressive strength is 6.1-15.2MPa; the acid resistance is 98.3%-98.9%; and the alkali resistance is 99.1%-99.4%.
