The invention discloses a novel ceramic tile binder. The novel ceramic tile binder is composed of the following components in parts by weight: 45 to 50 parts of acrylate copolymer emulsion, 45 to 50 parts of styrene-butadiene rubber latex, 280 to 300 parts of 50-mesh silica sand, 150 to 200 parts of 200-mesh silica sand, 10 to 12 parts of polyvinyl alcohol, 5 to 15 parts of coupling agent, 5 to 20 parts of dispersant, 2 to 3 parts of silicon dioxide, and 45 to 50 parts of calcium carbonate. The solid content of the acrylate copolymer emulsion is 40 to 50%, and the solid content of the styrene-butadiene rubber latex is 45 to 55%. The novel ceramic tile binder comprises 2 to 3 parts of silicon dioxide, so the binder can be evenly painted, the construction performance of the binder is effectively improved, and the precipitation and separation of components in the ceramic tile binder are prevented. Moreover, 10 to 12 parts of polyvinyl alcohol is added so as to increase the viscosity of the binder and enable the binder to have a very strong adhesive property. The formula is reasonable, the application range is wide, and the adhered decoration surface is clean and beautiful.
