The invention discloses a ceramic tile binder. The ceramic tile binder is produced from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 30 parts of steel slag micro powder, 15 parts of cement, 5 parts of desulphurization gypsum, 45 parts of coal ash, 4 parts of butadiene-styrene polymer and 0.5 part of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose. All of the raw materials are mixed uniformly to obtain the ceramic tile binder. The ceramic tile binder takes industrial waste residue-steel slag micro powder, the desulphurization gypsum and the coal ash as preparation raw materials, is low in price and capable of being widely popularized, and the production cost of the ceramic tile binder is reduced.
