Novel ceramic material and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to a novel ceramic material and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the technical field of ceramic processing. The novel ceramic material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 60-85 parts of Al2O3, 20-40 parts of TiC, 5-10 parts of Co and 5-10 parts of Si3N4. The preparation method for the novel ceramic material comprises the following steps: mixing the components in proportion, ball-milling the components for 24 hours in an alcohol solution; then, performing hot-pressing and sintering for 1-2 hours at a temperature of 1600-1700 DEG C under the pressure of 25MPa in the presence of an Ar gas to obtain the novel ceramic. The ceramic material prepared by the preparation method is obviously improved in sintering process performance, mechanical performance, strength level, fracture toughness and wear resistance in comparison with the conventional ceramic.
