The invention relates to a construction method of a steel structure roof waterproof and heat insulation system. The method comprises the following steps: after a profiled steel plate is mounted, a polyethylene PE film steam separation layer is paved on the profiled steel plate; a glass wool plate is fixed on a PE film by a self-tapping screw and a sleeve; finally, a PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) waterproof roll is paved on the glass wool plate; a lamp joint of the PVC waterproof roll adopts a hot air welding manner and the material of the lamp joint is a base material, namely PVC which is connected by welding is a whole material without a connector; the joint formed by the process and the base material can be integrally formed and are firm and reliable; a formed roof is an integrated whole body and a partially weak phenomenon and the like do not exist. The main construction method comprises the following steps: construction preparation, base layer treatment, pavement of the PE film, pavement and fixation of a heat insulation layer, pavement and fixation of the PVC roll, treatment of thin part nodes and inspection and acceptance.
