The invention discloses a solar-powered ventilation roller shutter sun-shading device and method. A roller shutter box of the device is installed on a wall body and is of a cavity structure, and a solar thin-film battery is arranged on the outer surface of the side facing the outside, of the upper surface of the roller shutter box. A solar radiation sensor and a temperature sensor are arranged outside the solar thin-film battery, an air inlet shutters are installed at the bottom of the roller shutter box, air outlet shutters are arranged on the side faces of the roller shutter box and face the indoor side. A tubular motor is installed inside the roller shutter box, the upper end of a flexible roller shutter is connected with the tubular motor, and the lower end of the flexible roller shutter is fixed to a bottom rod. The input end of a calculator is connected with a charging battery, the solar radiation sensor and the temperature sensor respectively, the output end of the calculator is connected with a controller, the tubular motor and an axial fan respectively. The solar-powered ventilation roller shutter sun-shading device and method fully utilizes solar energy and can simultaneously achieve sun-shading and ventilation of a building external window, facilitate improvement of indoor air quality and heat comfort, shorten air-conditioning time and save air-conditioning electric quantity.
