The invention relates to a light hollow ceramsite partition board strip for buildings. The partition board strip comprises the following raw materials in mixing proportion (in percentage by weight ): 5-15% of waste ceramsite, 15-35% of slags, 15-25% of coal ash, 5-20% of mineral waste residues, 5-20% of cement,1-3% of cellulose, and an appropriate amount of water. The ceramsite, the coal ash and the mineral waste residues, which are used, are residual waste generated after production of other enterprises, so that the purpose of reuse of the waste is achieved.
