The invention discloses a high-temperature-resistant aerated building block and a preparation method thereof. The aerated building block is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 30-50 parts of high-silicon iron tailing, 15-25 parts of kyanite, 20-30 parts of fused magnesia, 11-17 parts of sulphoaluminate cement, 10-15 parts of desulfurized gypsum, 5-10 parts of aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, 7-13 parts of asbestos powder, 12-18 parts of volcanic ash, 6-12 parts of papermaking white sludge, 4-8 parts of brucite fiber, 2-4 parts of barium metaborate, 1-2 parts of calcium formate, 2-3 parts of polyoxyethylene, 0.5-1 part of mirabilite and 0.8-1.6 parts of modified aluminum powder. By adding raw materials such as kyanite, fused magnesia, aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, asbestos powder, volcanic ash and brucite fiber, the aerated building block has excellent mechanical strength, excellent high temperature resistance, long service life and wide range of application and can be used under high temperature environment for a long term.
