The invention relates to an automobile door protection system which comprises a door body and a lock body, wherein the opening and closing of the door body are controlled by the lock body; the automobile door protection system further comprises an infrared inductor and an indication lamp; the indication lamp can display red or green; the indication lamp is positioned inside the door body; the infrared inductor is arranged at the part, which is adjacent to a lower edge, of the outer side of the door body; the infrared inductor is capable of controlling the lock body to control the opening and closing of the door body by virtue of inducing whether a foreign matter exists below the exterior of the door body or not; furthermore, the infrared inductor is capable of controlling the color displayed by the indication lamp by virtue of inducing whether a foreign matter exists below the exterior of the door body or not. According to the automobile door protection system provided by the invention, the problem that an automobile door is pushed open outwards, collides with a roadside step and thus is bruised or scratched when a person in an automobile opens the automobile door to depart from a carriage can be prevented, and the automobile door protection system is beneficial to aesthetic property of an automobile body.
