The invention provides a holey belt-type lifter with a buffer gear. The lifter comprises a driving mechanism and a lifter support and is characterized in that a driving belt driven gear and a driving belt driving gear are arranged at the upper and lower ends of the strip-shaped lifter support and are connected and driven by a driving belt; two guide slots, namely a left belt guide slot and a right belt guide slot, are arranged between the driving belt driven gear and the driving belt driving gear on the lifter support; the driving belt passes through the interiors of the two guide slots; the openings of the guide slots turn outwards to form slide rails; a slider for installing window glass is fixed on the driving belt; a sliding chute of the slider is clamped on the slide rails; a driving belt driving gear shaft is connected with the driving mechanism. The lifter has the beneficial effects that the contact area of the driving belt and driving gear of the lifter is large, so that the defects that the steel wire ropes and driving wheels of rope wheel type automobile window lifters are severely worn due to small contact areas and concentrated force-bearing points are avoided; the driving gear is a buffer gear and is protected, thus prolonging the service life of the lifter.
