Al/Mg/B toughened and strengthened ceramic and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to the field of a ceramic preparation technology, and in particular relates to an Al/Mg/B toughened and strengthened ceramic and a preparation method thereof. According to the preparation method, SiC crystal whiskers are added and a composite raw material is formed by using AlMgB14 pre-reaction powder and SiC crystal whiskers according to a certain proportion so that the fracture toughness of the Al/Mg/B ceramic can be improved. The fracture toughness, the strength and rigidity of the Al/Mg/B ceramic, in particular the high-temperature performance of the Al/Mg/B ceramic, can be improved further by adding compositely SiC crystal whisker-Ni3Al mixed powders. The fracture toughness of the finally obtained ceramic material can be improved significantly in a way that a certain amount of Cr, Zr, Y, V and B is added into Ni3Al to modify Ni3Al. As the boron powder is subjected to a high-temperature thermal treatment and then is mixed with the aluminum powder and magnesium powder, and then high-pressure heating is carried out to obtain AlMgB14 pre-reaction powders, the performance of the Al/Mg/B ceramic can be improved further by virtue of the process disclosed by the invention. The preparation method disclosed by the invention is simple and easy to implement; and the prepared Al/Mg/B ceramic has the advantages of good fracture toughness, high strength, excellent compactness and good high-temperature performance.
