The invention provides a heat preserving wall with straw building blocks and polyethylene films composited. The wall which is low in price, environmentally friendly, durable and lasting, and saves energy is provided for houses in the north rural areas. The horizontal mortar joint thickness and the vertical joint thickness of the building blocks are 12 mm. Rice hull heat preservation mortar is adopted as mortar. The building blocks inside and outside the polyethylene films are laid at the same time. The films are connected with roof boards effectively in an overlapped mode. Tie bar meshes are arranged in mortar joints in windows, doorways and the like of the wall. As the straw building blocks and the polyethylene films are effectively composited, the reasonable structure form and the structure measure are adopted, the bearing ability and the heat preserving and insulating performance of the residence wall are improved, and therefore the heat preserving wall compositing the straw building blocks and the polyethylene films integrates energy conservation, economy, safety, comfort and durability.
