The invention discloses a main material breaking joint for the cross section of filler-plate-free four-combination angle steel of a transmission tower. The joint comprises four main materials and encased angle steel, two opposite angles of the four main materials are broken in a staggered mode, the encased angle steel is adopted in the broken opposite angles, the encased angle steel is arranged on the inner sides of two main materials with the broken opposite angles, and the four main materials are arranged in a pairwise direct contact mode. According to the joint, a filler plate for connection of common four-combination angle steel is removed, four limbs are connected by directly adopting bolts, under the condition that the component strength and the rigidity requirements of the broken points of the main materials are ensured, an inner attaching plate is flexibly removed, the encased angle steel type is directly adopted for connection, and the weight of the joint is effectively reduced by about 10 percent. Meanwhile, large stress factors of the four-combination angle steel is considered, the processing mode of joint staggering and pairwise opposite-angle breaking is adopted in the broken points, the adverse effect of stiffness breaking of the broken joint is effectively avoided, and safety of the joint is improved. Due to the fact that the filler plate of the common four-combination angle steel is removed, the weight of the whole tower is effectively reduced, the welding work is reduced, machining and construction are convenient, and the obvious advantages are achieved.
