Diesel pile driver
The invention relates to a diesel hammer pile driver, which has a cylinder (1), a piston (2) displaceably guided in the cylinder (1) and a striker (3) displaceably guided in the cylinder (1). The striker (3) is disposed underneath the piston (2) in the operating position of the diesel hammer pile driver. A combustion chamber (12) is delimited axially by a face surface of the striker (3) that lies in the interior of the cylinder (1) and by a face surface of the piston (2), and opens into a fuel feed device (4) connected with a fuel tank (5) disposed on the outside of the cylinder (1). Using the fuel feed device (4) a predetermined amount of fuel can be introduced into the combustion chamber (12) during each working cycle. The fuel tank (5) is elastically mounted on the cylinder (1).
