The invention discloses an architectural coating spraying robot which comprises a base and a control system. A stirring mechanism and a lifting mechanism are arranged on the base, a spraying mechanism is arranged at the upper end of the lifting mechanism, the stirring mechanism is fixedly connected to the base through an upright, the lifting mechanism is fixedly connected to the base through a first lifting pillar, a second lifting pillar and a fourth motor pillar, and the spraying mechanism is fixedly connected to a nut sleeve of the lifting mechanism; a spraying head comprises an outer-wall solid cavity part and a cavity, a coating retaining plate is connected to the side wall of the cavity through a rotating pin, a coating pipe notch is arranged in the upper end of a coating pipe and is located in the cavity portion of the spraying head, and the robot is further provided with first infrared mechanism detection and second infrared mechanism detection. By the arrangement, flatness of the wall is detected, two groups of infrared mechanism detection form a negative feedback loop through a main controller, and quality of the wall sprayed by the robot can be effectively guaranteed.
