The invention discloses an expressway for preventing illegal emergency vehicle lane occupation. The expressway comprises a middle strip, an overtaking lane, a carriageway, an emergency lane and an earth shoulder which are sequentially connected, wherein the emergency lane is 1.6-1.8m wide; the middle strip consists of a medial strip and an inner marginal strip. Compared with the existing traffic police control and supervision and penalty means (200 yuan is fined and 6 scores are deducted), owners on the expressway consciously supervise one another, so that a minority of owners are prevented from illegally occupying the emergency vehicle lane better by virtue of supervision power of the public. After the expressway disclosed by the invention is used for a while, the drivers gradually develop the good habit of not occupying the emergency vehicle lane, and finally the traffic offence behavior is fully abandoned, so that the safe smoothness of the life channel is guaranteed.
